I selected Menti for as this technology tool because I was curious to see how I could utilize it in my own teaching curriculum.  I have heard that it is useful in the classroom and I was able to experience how beneficial it could be for teachers and students.  Technology can contribute to the lesson by allowing everyone to participate at once, and it is inclusive for all students.  Menti is a great tool for promoting inclusion in the classroom by providing anonymous participation, ensuring accessibility, offering multiple response options, providing visual representations and facilitating inclusive feedback.  This is helpful for student learning because Menti can help teachers to create a supportive and comprehensive learning environment where students voices are heard and valued.

Menti offers features that can help teachers differentiate lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students by allowing multiple response options, adaptability, personalized feedback, flexible pace, group collaboration, and customization abilities.  In my technology lesson demonstration, I showed some features of how students can experience these things while utilizing Menti.  If there is a time when technology does not work, I could perform an alternative form of instruction, traditionally, by using paper and pencil to issue quizzes.  With issuing a traditional type quiz, I probably will not be as efficient in getting real time answers or gaining group collaboration.  The main idea of my lesson demonstration was to see how much the students know prior to introducing a new science unit.  Using Menti to pre-assess the students allows for extra information and benefits of collecting data.  Overall, Menti provides teachers with tools that support differentiated instruction and personalized learning experiences which is beneficial to the students and the teachers.
